"A Safe Pause"

The power of psychological therapy is essentially in creating a 'safe pause' away from the busyness of everyday life and all our demands. By creating a safe space, one can start to feel comfortable and have a chance to reflect on their own self, relationships, their life.... Zoe works from the premise that by helping an individual to have a 'safe pause', what is truly important will rise to the surface. As such, within the quiet space of the therapeutic relationship, one can feel more grounded, supported and be able to access what is truly of value.

In fact, research shows that up to 40% of what works in therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. Just having a safe, empathic therapeutic relationship can go a long way towards supporting healing for yourself. Zoe then uses different psychological modalities and tools to support; such as an opportunity to reflect and process; emotional coaching techniques; cognitive approaches and body work approaches.
